Michael Nasato

Michael Nasato is a tenor who has performed as a soloist in both opera concerts and fully staged productions. He has appeared in a range of operatic works from Verdi, Puccini, Bizet and Mozart. Michael has sung the role of
Alfredo in La Traviata in both fully-staged and concert versions and has received critical acclaim for his performances. Michael has also sung roles in Carmen, Rigoletto, and has sung excerpts from La Boheme, The Pearl Fishers, Il Trovatore, Macbeth, Tosca, Fedora, Faust, L’Arlesiana, Madama Butterfly, Cavalleria Rusticana and Turandot.

Michael has been singing from an early age. His lirico-spinto voice is perfectly suited for Verdi and Puccini roles. However, Michael is equally at ease with Italian folk and art songs, sacredmusic, and popular ballads such as Con te partiro

and can sing in Italian, English, and French. He has sung as the tenor soloist for various choirs and has performed with Opera Belcanto of York, the Toronto Opera Repertoire, and Coro Verdi. Michael’s experience includes presenting

operatic repertoire in concert settings as well as taking on roles in staged performances, demonstrating versatility in classical vocal performance.
