Stanislaus Vitort

Stanislas graduated with a Masters of Music in Operatic Arts from the “Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory”, where he studied with the famous Russian tenor Vladislav Piavko, one of the greatest soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre.

After the graduation Stanislas worked as a soloist at the “Novaya Opera” theatre in Moscow.
The following year he was selected to play a principal role in Moscow’s production of the worldwide hit show “We Will Rock You,” In addition, he has sung in concert at the Moscow Kremlin Hall alongside Brian May and Roger Taylor, members of the legendary rock band “Queen.”

Stanislas  Vitort  is a winner of the International Luciano Pavarotti Tenors Competition in St. Petersburg, 2008. The following he performed the role of Mozart in Rimsky-Korsakov’s opera Mozart and Salieri at the Festival de Radio France et Montpellier, with the Orchestre National de Montpellier Languedoc-Roussillon under the baton of the world renown conductor Lawrence Foster.

In 2014 Stanislas became a finalist in the TV show of “The Voice”, which was viewed by more than 40 million viewers.

Since moving to Toronto Stanislas has participated in numerous concerts, music festivals, and productions such as Carmen and La Boheme with Opera Belcanto of York.

Mr. Vitort’s repertoire includes the roles of Herman in The Queen of Spades (Tchaikovsky), Lykov in The Tsar’s Bride (Rimsky-Korsakov), Cavaradossi in Tosca and Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly (Puccini), Macduff in Macbeth and Otello in Otello (Verdi), Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana (Mascagni), Canio in I Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Don José in Carmen (Bizet), Hussar in Mavra (Stravinsky), and Andrea Chenier in Andrea Chenier (Giordano), among others.
