Parker Clements

Originally from Prince Edward Island, Parker Clements is a Toronto-based baritone and an alumnus of the Diploma of Operatic Performance at the University of Toronto. During his time there he had the privilege of studying with Wendy Neilsen and the opportunity to appear in various masterclasses, working with Russell Braun, Elliot Madore, Lawrence Brownlee, Eric Owens, and Joyce DiDinato. He has performed with Soundstreams New Composer Workshop, Tapestry Songbook, Opera by Request, Under the Spire Music Festival, and Bathurst Chamber Music Festival, and appears regularly around Toronto bars and pubs with Opera Revue. His role highlights include Creonte (Haydn’s “L’anima del Filosofio”), Malatesta, Des Grieux (Massenet’s “Le portrait de Manon”), Edmund (Dove’s “Mansfield Park”), Escamillo, Belcore, and Don Giovanni. Parker is also a member of the Tafelmusik Chamber Orchestra and has appeared with Soundstreams’ Choir 21.
