Indigenous Mezzo-Soprano Kristine Dandavino has established herself in Verdi and Wagner’s dramatic repertoire. Most recently, she performed in The Museum of the Lost and Found (Shortt) with Loose Tea Music Theatre and will be singing Fricka in Die Walküre (Wagner) with Dramatic Voices Program Berlin. An award-winning voice teacher/coach, Kristine lives in Oshawa with her daughter, Zoe, and the world’s crankiest Yorkshire Terrier aka Timothy. Since 2020, she has been the Music Director for the Durham Girls Choir and Music Director at St. Matthews Anglican Church. She is a member of the First Nations Community Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg.
