Emily Rocha is a captivating artist with a warm, silvery soprano voice. For the 2024-2025 season, she joins the Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio and is a Vocal Fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center.
Emily was the 2nd Prize Winner at the COC Centre Stage: Ensemble Studio Competition, District Winner of the Metropolitan Opera Eric and Dominique Laffont Competition in Tulsa, and an Encouragement Award winner at the 2024 George and Nora London Foundation Competition.
Emily’s recent operatic credits include Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Gilda (Rigoletto), Cunegonde (Candide, cv), Ernestine (M. Choufleuri…), Lucie Manette (A Tale of Two Cities), and Cassandra (Disobedience, premiere).
