Please join Sabatino Vacca, Artistic Director of SOLO, in a discussion of Verdi’s “Messa da Requiem” in preparation for SOLO’s upcoming performance on May 23^rd at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre. Sabatino will explore the music of the Requiem and why it inspires such reverence among audiences worldwide. Audiovisual examples will be presented along with a soloist performance.
