Southern Ontario Lyric Opera, 2005 Barlow Crescent, Burlington, ON – L7P 4N7
As with our last virtual concert in December, we will be contacting libraries in neighbouring communities including Hamilton, Oakville, Grimsby, and our own Burlington library, to post the concert on their websites like the last time. We will also be in touch with local seniors residences as they have been hit hard with the lockdowns and restrictions to give them some reprieve from the lack of connecting with loved ones.
We have tentatively re-scheduled our Verdi Requiem to November 7, 2021, and our Carmen production for March 2022. We’re really hoping that we will be out of the covid woods by that time. It will be wonderful to perform live once again and celebrate music as a community. In the meantime enjoy our “Lovestruck” programme! Feel free to share with your friends.
We are doing some cross-promoting with Stephanie’s group Opera Sustenida, they also have a performance this weekend, details are below.
