Rachelle Kelly

headshot2Soprano Rachelle Kelly loves to share music with others – either on the stage or with her students.  Rachelle has performed the roles of Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Venus inOrpheus in the Underworld, and Aldonza in Man of La Mancha with Western Plains Opera, Flora in La Traviata with Opera Kitchener, Brampton Lyric Opera, and Western Plains Opera, the Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors with Kitchener Opera, Countess Ceprano in Rigoletto with Brampton Lyric Opera, and Madame Pompous in Too Many Sopranos with Texas Tech University Theatre.  Soloist concert engagements include Broadway at the Rose with the Brampton Symphony Orchestraa televised performance of Handel’s Messiah as the alto soloist, as well as a duet concert, A Merry Night, with tenor and Sony recording artist, Emilio Fina.  Rachelle is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers and currently teaches primary, intermediate, and senior music at MacLachlan College in Oakville and serves as one of the conductors of the Oakville Children’s Choir.
