Ukrainian – Canadian soprano Natalya Gennadi is gaining attention in North America for her performances in wide-ranging repertoire. Natalya caused a sensation in the leading role of Oksana G, a powerful new work about human trafficking. Her Dora Award-nominated performance in this world premiere was described as “stunning … piercing in its openness and vulnerability” (Toronto NOW Magazine).
Natalya recently understudied Tatiana in Eugene Onegin at Hawaii Opera Theatre, and performed Mimi in La bohème with Highlands Opera and in 2019 with Brott Opera Festival.
